!lBein Grant Pension Refunds and Pocket Mone to Residents of
the E11!:in County Home for the Al!:ed."
W'HEREAS the residents of the Elgin County Home for the Aged
require pooket money to purchase various sundries not provided for them.
NOW' THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the County of
Elgin enacts as follows:
1. That each resident of Elgin Manor receiving Old Age Assistance;
Old Age Seourity Pension or Family Benefits Allowance be given a refund in
the amount of 15% of their oheque taken to the nearest dollar, but not
exceeding $15.00 per month,
2. That other residents of Elgin Manor be given pocket money in the
amount of $11.00.
3. That Clause 1 and 2 of this By-Law shall not apply to those
residents of Elgin Manor who are se1f~supporting.
4. That this By-Law be retro-active to March 1st, 1967,
5. That By-Law No. 1869 be, and the same is hereby repealed
READ a first time this 19th day of September, 1967.
READ a second time this 19th day of September, 1967.
READ a third time, and finally passed this 19th day of
September, 1967
