Bein a ßy-Law to aopoint Auditors for the County of Elgin."
THE Corporation of 'che Coun'cy of Elgin enacts as follows
L THAT Winspear, Higgins, Stevenson and Doane be and are
hereby appointed auditors for the County of Elgin to hold office
during good behaviour and he removable for cause upon the vote of
t;wo-thirds of t;he members of 'the Council.
2. THAT it shall be the du-ty of 'the said audi,torsto ex-
amine and audit all accounts affecting 'the Corporation or re-
lating to any matter under its con'tro1 or within its jurisdiction.
3. THAT the annual account .submitted for the services
rendered be subject to the approval of the Elgin County Property
Committee.
4. THAT all other by-laws passed wi,th respect 'to the
appointment of an auditor or auditors be and" 'the same are hereby
repealed.
