:!2ll£. Salary of the Elgin County Road Superintendent."
WHEREAS By-[,aw No. 1696 deals with the appointment and
remuneration of a Road Superintendent for the County of Elgin.
AND \<lHEREAS By -Law No. 1696 is presently amended by By-
Law No. 1943.
AND\;'HEREAS it'is no,," deemed advisable to change the
present salary of the Elgin County Road Superintendent.
NOW THEREFORE the municipal Corporation of the County
of Elgin enacts as follows:
1. THAT Clause (4) of By-Law No. 1696 as amended by By-
Law No. 1943 be deleted, and the following substituted therefore;
JlTHAT the salary or remuneration of the Road Superintend-
ent shall be the sum of Thirteen Thousand, Nine Hundred Dollars
($13,900.00) per annum payable semi-monthly, and that he be paid
an allowance for the use of his car based on the following schedu1e:JI
Mileage
~ Calendar Year.
0 -- 5,000 .144: per mile
5,000 -- 10,000 .074: per mile
Over -- 10,000 .05¢ per mile
2. THAT By-Law No. 1943 be, and the same is hereby repealed.
3. 'fHAT thm.s By-Law shall take effect on December 31st.,
1967, subjeet to the approval of the Minister of Highways.
PASSED in open Council this 22nd day of November, 1967.

of the County of Elgin which increases the salary
of the Engineer and Road Superintendent, Mr. n,G.
Moore to~13,900 per annum plus a mileage allowance
of 14¢ per mile for the first 5,000 miles, 7¢ per
mile for the next 5,000 miles and 5¢ per mile there-
after, effective December 31, 1967
