~'fEREAS By-Law No. 1867 deals with the appointment and re-
mut)ieration of a Clerk-Treasurer for the County of Elgin.
AND WHEREAS By-Law No. 1867 is presently amended by By-Law
No. 1945.
AND WHEREAS it is now deemed advisable to change the present
salary of the Elgin County Clerk-Treasurer.
NQ\\f THEREFORE the Municipal Corporation of t he County of
Elgin enacts as follows:
1. 'fHAT Clause (2) of By-Law No. 1867 as amended by By-Law
No. 1945 be deleted and the following substituted therefore.
"THAT his salary as Clerk-Treasurer of the County of
Elgin be Nine Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($9,500.00) per
annumo 11
2. THAT Clause (3) of By-Law N01 1867 be deleted and the
following substituted therefore.
"THAT his salary as Treasurer of the Elgin County Home
for the Aged be, Two Thousand Dollars '$2,000.00} per' annum."
3. THAT this By-Law shall take effect on December 31st.,
1967, at 12 01c10ck midnight.
READ a First Time this22 day of November, 1967.
READ a Second Time this 22 day of November, 1967.
READ a Third Time and finally passed this 22 day
of November, 1967.
