W'J-IBREAS By-La" No. 1948 deals with the appointment and
remuneration of a Deputy Assessment Commissioner for the County
of Elgin.
AND ì<lHER.EAS it is now deemed advisable to change the
present salary of the Deputy Assessment Cømmissioner.
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Corporation of the County
of Elgin enacts as follows:
1. THAT Clause (2) of By-Law No. 1948 be deleted and
the following substituted therefore.
"'THAT his salary be Nine Thousand, Five Hundred
Dollars ($9,500.00) per year payable semi- monthly. "
THAT this By-Law shall become effective December 31st.,
1967, at 12 o'clock midnight.
