WHEREAS the Corporation of the County of Elgin has leased to
the University of Western Ontario Part of the East Half of Lot 23 and
Part of the West Half of Lot 24, lying south of the old Lake Road as
shown on Registered Plan D 769, all in Concession I, in the Township of
Yarmouth.
AND WHEREAS the said lease expires on September 30th, 1969,
AND WHEREAS the University of Western Ontario desires to
renow the said loase for a further five year term.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the County of
Elgin enacts as follows:
THAT the Warden and the Clerk of the Corporation of the County
of Elgin be and are hereby authorized to sign a letter renewing the above
mentioned lease for a further five year term to be computed from the
I 1st day of October, 1969.
READ a first time this 19th day of November, 1968.
READ a second time this 19th day of November, 1968.
READ a third time and finally passed this 19th day of
November, 1968.

As you are aware, the Geography Department
.of the University considers this to be an important field
laboratory and pla.ns to use it quite extensively in the, next
few years.
We wish to exercise the option of 'renewing
for a further five year term, the lease which expires on
September 30, 1969 on the east half of Lot 23 and the west
half of Lot 24 lying south of the old Lake Road as shown on
registered Plan D 769, Concession 1, in the Township of
Yarmouth, approximately 10 acres.
