WHEREAS By-Law No. 2024 deals with the appoin'tment and
remuneration of an Assistant Clerk-Treasurer for the County of Elgin.
AND WHEREAS it is now deemed advisable to change the salary
of the Assistant Clerk-Treasurer for the County of Elgin.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the County
of Elgin enacts as follows:
1. THA'r Clause (2) of By-Law No. 2024 be deleted and the
following substituted therefore:
"THAT his salary as Assist.ant Clerk_Treasurer of the County
of Elgin be Eight Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($8,500,00) per
annum. II
2. THAT Clause (3) of By-Law No. 2024 be deleted.
3. TIMT this By-Law shall take effect on December 31st, 1968,
at 12 oTclock midnight,
