BeinΠa By-Law to Appoint a Deputv Clerk-Treasurer for the Count
of EIŒin."
WHEREAS Mrs. Mary Fishleigh is resigning as Deputy
Clerk-Treasurer of the County of Elgin on May 31st, 1969.
AND WHEREAS Section 215 (2) of the Municipal Act, R. S. o.
1960, provides for the appointment of a Deputy Clerk and Section
218 (2) of the Municipal Act, R. S. O. 1990, provides for the
appointment of a Deputy Treasurer.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the
Ceunty of Elgin enacts as follows:
1. THA~ George C. Leverton be and is hereby appointed
Deputy Clerk-Treasurer of the County of Elgin.
2. THAT his salary as Deputy Clerk-Treasurer of the
County of Elgin be Seven Thousand Dollars ($7,OOØ.OØ) per annum,
payable bi-weekly.
3. THAT By-Law No. 1868 be and the same is hereby
repealed.
4. THAT this By-Law beceme effective June 1st, 1969
READ a first time this 21st day of May, 1969.
