By-Law No. 2255
"BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT AN ACTING ADMINIS'I'E'I\.TOl~
F'OIi~ THE ELGIN COUNTY HOME FOJ~ THE AGED".
WHEREAS Section 11, Subsection 2 of the
Homes for the Aged and Rest Homes Act provides
that the Council of a municipality that establishes
and maintains a home, may appoint a person to act
temporarily as administrator òf the home for a
period not exceeding one year.
NOW TIIEREFORE the Council of the Corpora-
tion of the County of Elgin enacts as follows:
1. THl-\.T Mr. Fred J. Boyes be and is hereby
appointed to act temporarily as administrator of
the Elgin County Home for the Aged.
2. THAT the said administrator shall carry
out all duties as required by the Regulations of
the Homes for the Aged and Rest Homes Act, and
such other duties as directed by the Elgin Manor
Committee.
3. THAT Mr. Boyes shall commence his duties on
June 4, 1973.
4. THAT his salary, as Acting Administrator
be Fourteen Thousand Dollars ($14,000.00) per
annum, payable biweekly.
5. 'll-IAT all By-Laws inconsistent with this
By-Law be and the same are hereby repealed.
