By-Law No. 2272

"BEING A BY-LAW TO j~WEND BY-LAW No 2086 THEREBY
ADJUSTING THE SALARY OF THE SECRETARY-TREASURElt FOR
'rHE ELGIN COUNTY HOME FOR THE AGED".
WHEREAS By-Law No. 2086 deals wHh the
appointment and remuneration of a Secretary-Treasurer
for the Elgin County Home for the Aged.
AND WHEREAS By-Law No. 2086 is presently
amended by By-Law No. 2144.
AND WIÆREAS it is deemed advisable to
change the present salary of the Secretary-Treasurer
for the Elgin County Home for the Aged.,
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Municipal
Corporation of the County of E];gin enacts as follows;
1. TlffiT Clause (2) or By-Law No. 2086, as
amended by By-Law No. 2144, be deleted,
and the following substituted therefore:
"That his salary as Secretary-Treasurer
of the Elgin County Home for the Aged be
Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) per
annum, payable bi-weekly~.
2. THAT By-Law No. 2144 be and the same is
hereby repealed.
3. TlffiT this By-Law become effective January 1,
1974.
READ a first time this 19th day of September, 1973
READ a second time this 19th day of September, 1973
READ a third time and finally passed this 19th day
of September, 1973
