COUNTY OF ELGIN By-Law No. 2298 "A BY-Lj~W TO CONFIRM BY-LAW No. 74-2 OF THE TOWNSHIP OF-PUNWICH, BEING ~BY-LAW TO STOP UP OR CLOSß AND SELL A PORTION OF THE ROAD ALLOWANCE BETWßEN LOTS 18 AND 19, CONCESSION, 6, IN THE TOWNSHIP OF DUNlHCH".. WHEREAS the Council of the Township of Dunwich on -the 4th day of FebrUi'irY, 1974, A.D. did pass By-Law No. 74-2 to close and dispose of a portion of the Road Allowance between Lots 18 and 19, Concession 6, in the Township of Dunwich more particularly described in By-Law 74-2 of the Township of Dun- wich, a true copy of which is hereunto annexed. AND WHBREAS pursuant to the provisions of the Muni- cipal Act the said Township By-'Law shall not have any force until confirmed by a By-Law of the Council of the County in which the Township is situated, passed a.t an ordinary meeting of the Council held not later. than one yea.r after the passing of the By-Law of the Council of the Township. AND WHEREAS application has been made to the Council of the Corporation of the County of Elgin for a By-Law confirming the said Township of Dunwich By-Law. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the County of Elgin enacts as follows: THAT By-Law No. 74-2 of the Township of Dunwich,being a By-Law to close and dispose of a portion of the Road Allowance between Lots 18 and 19, Concession 6, in the Township o~ Dunwich be and the same is hereby confirmed. Concession 6. in the WHEMAS under Chapter 284. Section 443 of the Municipal Act.. the Council of any Munici· pality is ghen the power to pass by.olawsfor stopping up andd1sposing of any highway or pari thereof wi.thin the Municipality.
