NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the
County of Elgin enacts as follows
AND WHEREAS applica.tion ha.s been ma.de to the Council
of the Corporation of the County of Elgin for a By-La.w confirming
the said Township of Ya.rmouth By-Law.
ANDWHEltEl-\S pursuant to the provisions of the Muni-
cipal Act the said 'rownship By-Law shall not have any force
until confirmed by a By-Law of the Council of the County in
which the Township is situated, passed at an ordinary meeting
of the Council held not later than one year after the passing
of the By-Law of the Council of the Township,
1IiHEltEAS the Council oJ the Township of Ya.rmouth on
the lOth day of December, 1973 A.D. did pass By-Law No. 2237
to stop-up a.nd sell road allovla.nces composed of part of
Lots 20 a.nd 21, Concession 7, in the Township of Ya.rmouth
more particularly described in By-Law No. 2237 of the Town-
ship of Yarmouth, a true copy of which is hereunto annexed.

A By-law to stop-up and sell certain road
allowances in the Township of Yarmouth.

I THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF YARMOUTH ENACTS AS

II FOLLOWS:
II 1. ' That the following described road allowances in the Township of
Yarmouth shall be and the same are hereby stopped-up:

ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and
premises situate, lying and being in the Township of Yar-
mouth, in the County of Elgin, and Province of Ontario
being composed of Part of Lots 20 and 21, Concession 7, in
the said Township of Yarmouth, designated as Parts 8, 9, 13,
15 and 16 on a Plan of Survey registered in the Registry
Office for the Registry Division of the County of Elgin as
No. D-l067.

'i 2. That the road allowances so stopped-up shall be offered for sale

to those owners whose lands abut such allowances up to the

ill the owners shall be $1.00. If any such owner does not exercise
his right to purchase within 15 days, the Council may sell the

, 3. That a meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the Township

II of Yarmouth to hear in person or by his ~ounsel, solicitor or
, agent any person who applies to be heard and who claims that his

, in the Council Chambers at 1229 Talbot Street, St. Thomas on

I, Monday, the 10th day of December, 1973 at the hour of 7:30 o'clock
