"A BY-LAW TO CONFIRM BY-LAW No. 1819 OF 1'HE TOWNSHIP OF' BAY HAM
BEING A BY-LAW TO STOP UP AND CLOSE AND SELL A STREET OR ALLEY
IN 'I'HB HAIV1LE'I' OF' RICHMOND IN TIlli 'TOWNSHIP OF' BAYHAM."
WHEREAS the Council of the Township of Bayham on
the 6th day of May, 1974, A.D. did pass By-Law No. 1819 to
stop-up and close and sell a street or alley in the Hamlet
of Richmond in the Township of Bayham more particularly
described in By-Law No. 1819 of the Township of Bayham, a
true copy of which is hereunto annexed.
AND WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions' of the Mlmi-
cipal Act the said Township By-Law shall not have any force
until confirmed by a By-Law of the Council of the County in
which the Township is situated, passed at an ordinary meeting
of the Council held not later than one year after the pa.ssing
of the By-Law of the Council of the Township.
AND WHEREAS application has been made to the Cöuncil
of the Corporation of the County of Elgin for a By-Law confirming
the said Township of Bayham By-Law.
NOW 1HEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the
County of Elgin enacts as follows:
1'HAT By-Law No. 1819 of the Township of Bayham
being a By-Law to stop-up and close and sell a street or alley
in the Ha.mlet of Richmond in the 'l'ownship of Bayham, be and
the same is hereby confirmed.
R£AD a first time this 27th day of June, 1974.
R£AD a second time this 27th day of June, 1974.
READ a third time and finally passed this 27th day of June, 1974.

Commencing at the north east angle of S. Moore Block on the
south side of Church Street; 'I'hence south 1'lesterly along
the easterly H¡¡d.t of S. Moore Block a distance of 26l~ feet;
'fhence south easterly perpendicular to the south easterly
boundary of S. Moore Block a distance of 66 feet; 'fhence
north easterly along the north wes'l;;erly limit of E. Cross
Block and W. Methodist Church Block a distance of 264 feet
Thence north ~~esterly along the southerly limit of Church
Street a distance of 66 feet more or less to the place of
beginnil;g, be stopped up and closed.
