1¡IBEIIEAS By-Lm, No. 2084 deals ,vi th the appointment
and remuneration of a Clerk-Treasurer for the County of Elgin.
AND WHElí'EAS By-Law No. 2084 is presently amended by
By-La.w No. 2270.
AND WmmEAS it is deemed l1dvisable to change the
present salary of the Elgin County Clerk-Treasurer.
NOW THElí'EFŒí'E the Council of the Municipal Corporation
of the County of Elgin enacts as follows:
1- THNr Clause (2) of By-Law No. 2084, as
amended by By-Law No. 2270, be deleted,
and the following substituted therefore:
"Ulat his salary as Clerk-Treasurer of
the County of Elgin be Twenty Thousand,
Dolla.rs (~)20,000.00) per annum, payable
bi-weekly at the following rates:
J~1/75 July 1/7Ji
$19,500.00 $20,000.00 "
2. THA'l' By-Law No. 2270 be a.nd the sa.me is
hereby repealed.
3. THAT this By-La.w become effective
Janua.ry 1, 1975.
