MILEAGE lä~rES PiUD TOIÙEìîlBEES OFTHJ( ELGIN COUNTY COUNCIL."
WHEREAS By-Law No. 2288 deals with the remuneration
paid to ea.ch member of the Elgin County Council, with the
exception of the 'IY"arden, for attending meeting"s of the Council
and Conuni ttees thereof.
AND 'Ii[jEI~EAS it is deemed advisable to change mileage
rates paid to members of Council.
NOW THEEEFOI-IE the Council of the Corporation of the
County of Elgin enacts as follows:
l. THAT Cli:iUse 1 (d) of By-Lavl No. 2288 be deleted
and the following substituted therefore:
"In addition to the above remunera.tion each
membersha11 be paid the following rates for
each mile necessa.rily travelled in attending
such meetings
o - 5,000 miles .180 per mile
over 5,000 miles .150 per mile"
