Wlml/EAS By-Law No. 2243 provides for the remuneration
to be pë.dd the Warden of the County of Elgin.
AND 1¡IHElí'EAS By-Law No. 22"13 is presently amended by
By-Law No. 2286.
AND 'vŒEIí'EAS the Council deems that the mileage rate
should be changed.
NOW THEREFOlí'E the Council of the Corporation of the
County of Elgin enacts as follows:
l. 'l1u\'r Clause (2) of By-Law No. 2243, a.s amended by
l3y-LiJ.w No. 2286, be deleted and the following
substituted therefore:
"~Ch,3.t in addition to the annual remuneration
established in Clause (1), the Warden shall
be paid the usual convention expenses allowed
by Council for attending conventions outside
the municipa.lity, plus the following rates
for each mile travelled in attending m,"etings
of County Council, County Council Committee
meetings, and meetings of Local Boa.rds in
which the County of Elgin is involved:
o - 5,000 miles .18rp per mile
over 5,000 miles .15¢ per mile"
2. TIli\'I' By-Law No. 2286 be and the same is hereby
repealed.
3. 1'HAT this By-Law become effective January 1st, 1975.
