"BEING A BY-LAW TO CONFIRM BY-LAW No. 77-22 OF JIΠTOWNSHIP OF
SOUTHVlOLD; A BY-LAW TO CLOSE UP PART OF THE LAKE ROAD IN LOT 12
SOUTH OF LAKE ROAD."
vfliEREAS the Council of the Township of Southwold on
the 11th Day öf July, 1977, did pass By-Law No. 77-22 to close
up part of the road in lieu of the Lake Road in Lot 12 South of
Lake Road, lying and being situated in the Township of Southwold
and more particularly described in By-Law No. 77-22 of the
Township of Southwold, a true copy of which is hereunto annexed.
AND viHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal
Act the said Township By-Law shall not have any force until
confirmed bya By-Law of the Council of the County in which the
Township is situated, passed at an ordinary meeting of the Council
held not later than one year after the passing of the By-Law by
the Council of the Township~
AND WHEREAS application has been made to the Council
of the Corporation of the County of Elgin for a By-Law confirming
the said Township of Southwold By-Law.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the
County of Elgin enacts as follows:
. THAT By-Law No. 77-22 of the Township of Southwold,
being a by-law to close up part of the Lake Road in Lot 12,
soüth of Lake Road in the Township of Southwold, be and the
same is hereby confirmed.
READ a first time this 21st .day of September, 1977.
READ a second time this 21st day of September, 1977.
READ a third time and finally passed this 21st day of September, 1977

A By-law to close up part of the road in
lieu of the Lake Road in Lot 121 South of
Lake Road
THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHWOLD
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the road allowance more particularly described
in Schedule 'A' attached to and forming part of this
By-law be and the same is hereby stopped-up.
READ THREE TIMES AND FINALLY PASSED THIS \\ day of jlo\\Y , 1977.

SCHEDULE A

ALL AND SrNGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of
landa.nd premises situate lying and being in the Township of
Southwold in the County of Elgin and Province of Ontario being
composed of those parts of the Road in Lieu of the Lake Road
in Lot 12 South of the Lake Road as travelled, more particularly
described as follows; ~.
FrRSTLY:
COMMENCrNG at a point in the North"Easterly limit of
Lot 46 Plan 229 which is the South-Westerly limit of the Road
in Lieu of the Lake Road distant 112 feet measured South-Easterly
thereon from its intersection with the Easterly limit of Cleveland
View as shown on said Plan 229;
THENCE South-Easterly along the South-Westerly limit
of said Road in Lieu of the Lake Road, a distance of 130 feet;
THENCE North-Easterly at right angles to the South-
Westerly limit of said Road across said road, a distance of
49.50 feet to its intersection with the North-Easterly limit
of said road;
THENCE North-Westerly along the North-Easterly limit
of the said Road in Lieu of the Lake Road, a distance of 130
feet;
THENCE South-Westerly across said Road, a distance of
49.50 feet to the place of beginning.
SECONDLY:
COMMENCING at a point in the Northerly angle of Lot
47 according to Plan Number 229 registered in the Registry Office
for the Registry Division of Elgin (No. 11), said point being the
intersection of the Easterly limit of Cleveland View, as shown on,
said Registered Plan 229 with the South-Westerly limit of the said
Road Laid Out in Lieu of the Lake Road;
THENCE South-Easterly along the South-Westerly limit of
the said Road Laid Out in Lieu of the Lake Road, a distance of
112 feet;
THENCE North-Easterly at right angles to the South-
Westerly limit of the said Road Laid Out in Lieu of the Lake Road,
a distance of 49.50 feet to its intersection with the North-Easterly
limit of the said R6ad;"
THENCE North-Westerl~ along the North-Easterly limit of
the said Road Laid Out in Lieu of the Lake Road, a distance of 112
feet;
THENCE South-Westerly at right angles to the South-
Westerly limit of the said Road. a distance of 49.5' to the point
of commencement
