By-Law No. 79-32
"BEING A BY-LAW TO A~ŒND FRINGE BENEFIT BY-LAW NO 2528."
vÆiEREAS By-Law No. 2528 provides for the various
fringe benefits for all employees not covered by a collective
agreement.
AND WHEREAS changes have been made in some of the
provisions since the passing of By-Law No. 2528.
NOW THEREFORE By-Law No. 2528 be amended by:
1. Adding to Paragraph 3 - SICK LEAVE
3.10 An employee, who is absent from employment due to
pregnancy'or childbirth, is not eligible for sick
leave pay.
2. Adding to Paragraph 6, subsection 6.04- LONG TERM
DISABILITY (L.T.D.)
Upo~ completion of the probationary period, all employees,
not covered by a collective ,agreement, shall as a condition
of employment, become members of the Long Term Disability
Plan.
3. Adding to Paragraph 9 -RETIRElVIENT
9.04 All cash liabilities for sick credits and vacation,
for employees who are allowed to work beyond the
age of 65 years, be settled at the time of normal
retirement and that no future liabilities be
accepted for sick credits and vacation be paid at
the following rates:
Entitled to less than :3 weeks vaca1:ion- 4'7. of total earnings
Entitled to 3 weeks vacation - 6% of total earnings
Entitled to 4 weeks vacation - 8% of total earnings
Entitled to 5 weeks vacation - 10'7. of total earnings.
READ a first time this 12th day of September, 1979.
READ a second time this 12th day of September, 1979.
READ a third time and finally passed this 12th day of September, 1979.
