'BEING A BY.,.LAW TO AMEND ,BYrLAWNO,. 79:20 A BY-LAW TO ESTABLISH
THE RATE OF PAY FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES IN THE HOMES FOR SENIOR
CITIZENS."
WHEREAS By-Law No. 79-20 establishes the rate of pay
for registered nurses in the Homes for Senior Citizens; and
WHEREAS it has been agreed that the rate of pay
shall equal the starting rate of pay for registered nurses,
employed at the St. Thomas~Elgin General Hospital; and
WHEREAS an increase has been extended to the nurses
at the hospital;
THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the
County of Elgin enacts as follows:
1- That Clause (1) of By-Law No. 79-20 be deleted and
the following substituted therefore:
(1) Registered Nurses -
October 1, 1978 - $7.85 per hour
October 1, 1979 - $8.37 per hour
and effective January 1st, 1980 a uniform
allowance of $60.00 per annum, be granted,
(payable quarterly in the amount of $15.00).
READ a first time this 20th day of February, 1980.
READ a second time this 20th day of February, 1980.
READ a third time and finally passed this 20th day of February, 1980
