BEING ,A BY_LAW TO AUTHORIZE GRANTS ,TO BE MAÙE TO VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS
CORPÒRATioNS, INSTITUT¡òN$, ETc., DURING,l980."
WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the County
of Elgin deems it advisable to make grants to certain organizations,
corporations, institutions, etc.;
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the
County of Elgin enacts as follows:
1- TH~T the following grants be and are hereby authorized for
the year 1980:
Association of Clerks and Treasurers $ 100,00
Association of Municipalities of Ontario 185.00
Association of Counties and Regions of Ontario 738.08
Canadian National Institute for the Blind 3,000,00
Salvation Army - Maintenance 500,00
Elgin County Pioneer Museum 1,000.00
Scholarships - Ridgetown College of Agricultural Technology 300,00
- University of Western Ontario 600,00
- University of Guelph 600.00
- Wilfrid Laurier University 300.00
- University of Waterloo 300.00
University of Western Ontario 1,500,00
Quad County Association for the Mentally Retarded 1,800.00
The Local Agricultural Office for
- Farm Organizations, Junior Farmers
and Institute Groups and Fall Banquet
for 4-H Clubs 4,300.00
Agricultural Representatives Act 500.00
The Agricultural and Horticultural Societies in the County
of Elgin - Equal to the Province of Ontario Grants to
these Societies.
Elgin Federation of Agriculture 500.00
Elgin County Plowmen's Association 3,000.00
Tillsonburg & District Association for the Mentally Retarded 2,000.00
Provincial (Ontario) Association of Committees of Adjustment
