80-40 I COUNTY OF ELGIN By-Law No. 80-40 BEING A BY-LAW TO FURTHER AMEND BY-LAW NO 79~46 A BY-LAW TO PROVIDE FRINGE BENEFITS TO ALL EMPLOYEES." WHEREAS By-Law No. 79-46, as amenqed by By-Law No. 80-28 provides for fringe benefits to all employees of the County of Elgin who are not covered by a collective agreement or includèd in the management category; and WHEREAs it is deemed advisable to amend the "VACATIONS" section to provide that part time employees receive a higher percentage based on length of service than is provided under The Employment Standards Act. NOW THEREFORE Section 2 entitled "VACATIONS" of By-Law No. 79-46 be amended by adding the following subsection: 2.02 (g) Every employee who is engaged on a regular part-time basis and not covered by a working agreement, shall be paid as follows for vacation pay: Hours Worked as of December 31st Less than 8,320 4% of prior year's earnings Over 8,320 6% of prior year's earnings Payment shall be subject to limitations as out- lined in Subsection 2.02 (e). This by-law shall become effective January 1st, 1981. READ a first time this 17th day of September, 1980. READ a second time this 17th day of September, 1980.
