"BEING A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE GRANTS TO BE MADE TO VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS,
CORPORATIONS, I NST nUTI ONS, ETC., DURING 1984."
WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the County
of Elgin deems it advisable to make grants to certain organizations,
corporations, institutions, etc..
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the
County of Elgin enacts as follows:
1- That the following grants be and are hereby authorized for the
year 1984:
Canadian National Institute For The Blind $ 3,000
Salvation Army 1,000
Elgin County Pioneer Museum 6,500
Scholarships - Ridgetown College of Agricultural Technology 400
- University of Western Ontario 800
- University of Guelph 800
- Wilfrid Laurier University 400
- University of Waterloo 400
University of Western Ontario 2,000
Quad County Association For Mentally Retarded 2,000
The Local Agricultural Office For
- Farm Organizations, Junior Farmers and
Institute Groups and Fall Banquet for
4-H Clubs 5,500
Agricultural Representatives Act 500
The Agricultural and Horticultural Societies in the County of
Elgin - Equal to the Province of Ontario Grants to these
Societies
Elgin Federation of Agriculture 500
Talbot Trail Committee 540
Tillsonburg & District Association For The Mentally Retarded 2,000
Southwestern Ontario Travel Association 2,000
Bobier Convalescent Home 25,000
