WHEREAS it is deemed necessary to establish hourly rates of pay for part time employees employed at branch,librar- iesthroughout the County. NOW THEREFO?E the Muniçipal Council of the Corpora- tiòn of the County of 'Elgin enàcts as follows:' 1. That the following rates be established for the branch library staff: Effective June 1st, 1986 Library Supervisor A $7.50 per hour Library Supervisor B 6.76 per hour Children's Supervisor 6.76 per hour Adult Supervisor 6.76 per hour Assistant 6.14 per hour Students - over 18 years 4.20 per hour - under 18 years 3.48 per hour. BENEFITS In lieu of benefits an allowance of $,.'25 per hour will be paid to all branch library employees, ,?x;cluding students, plus they will receive Statutory' Holidays as defined in the Employment Standards Act. BRANCH CLASSIFICATION All branch libraries will be classified as flAil or IIBII . nAil class libraries will be those libraries with an annual circula- tion of over 30,000 volumes. As of this date, Aylmer and Port Stanley libraries would be classified in the !I All category :ranch ~lbraries l be reclassified (upward or downward) when a circulatio'n change in another category is sustained for two years in a row. For example a IIBII class branch library would be designated as an "All class library if it sustains an annual level of 30,000 volumes over two consecutive twelve month periods. Branch libraries could move from nAil to "BII if annual circulation falls below 30,000 volumes over two consecutive twelve month periods. READ a first time this 24th day of September, 1986.
