WHEREAS the person who holds the position of
presently is on an annual salary, paid biweekly; and
this remuneration is considered payment for
duties and responsibilities related to the

WHEREAS
fulfilling all the

WHEREAS the current Warden is involved with the process
of Pay Equity, which is entailing a considerable number of
committee meetings over and above normal functions and duties of
the position and
WHEREAS it is deemed appropriate that these additional
duties should be compensated for on a per diem basis
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation
of the County of Elgin enacts as follows:
1. That the Warden be compensated for attending Pay Equity
Committee meetings at the per diem rates established for committee
meetings
