COUNTY OF ELGIN
By-Law No. 90-13
"BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 84-10 . BEING A BY -LAW TO
PROVIQ.LEQR-ERINGE BENEFlTS.~
WHEREAS By-Law No. 84-10 provides for fringe benefits
including Sick Leave for employees not covered by a collective
agreement or included in the management category; and
WHEREAS to qualify for a reduced Unemployment Insurance
Premium it is necessary to amend Section 3.10.
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation
of the County of Elgin enacts as follows:
l. That Paragraph 3 entitled IISick Leave (New Plan)
Section 3.10" of By-Law No. 84-10 be deleted and the following
substituted.
"An employee, who is absent from employment due to a pregnancy
related illness or childbirth, is not eligible for Sick Leave
pay. "
READ a first time this 21st day of February, 1990.
READ a second time this 21st day of February, 1990.
READ a third time and finally passed this 21st day of February 1990
