91-17 COUNTY OF ELGIN BY-LAW NO. 91-17 "BEING A BY-LAW TO ESTABLISH RULES AND PROCEDURES FOR ATTENDANCE AT CONVENTIONS BY EMPLOYEES" WHEREAS it is deemed appropriate to establish rules and procedures with respect to attendance at conventions by employees; and WHEREAS previously employees were governed by the same procedure as members of County Council; and WHEREAS the per diem allowance was also applicable, but as employees are on payroll, it will no longer apply. NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the County of Elgin enácts as follows: 1. That all employees attending conventions must have prior approval of the Committee through which they report. 2. That upon submission of receipts, travel, accommodations, meals, reqistration and actual expenses will be reimbursed. 3. That this by-law shall become effective January 1st, 1991. READ a first time this 20th day of February, 1991. READ a second time this 20th day of February, 1991.
