93-28 ELGIN COUNTY OF 93-28 By-Law No. "BEING A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION OF A COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ELGIN AND I.U. S.E. 220 LOCAL UNION LONDON AND DISTRICT SERVICE WORKERS' WITH RESPECT TO THE CORPORATION'S C.L.C. C.I.O. A.F.L. AND PART-TIME EMPLOYEES AT TERRACE LODG:E" WHEREAS the London and District Service Workers' Union, Local 220, by certificate dated March 24th, 1982, is the certified bargaining agent for all the employees of Terrace Lodge, save and except Supervisors, persons above the rank of Supervisor, Registered Nurses, Office Staff, persons regularly employed for not more than twenty-four hours per week, and students employed during the school vacation period; and FTJLL WHEREAS negotiations have taken place over a period of time, between the County and the Union, towards establishing orderly collective bargaining relations and providing an orderly procedure for the disposition of grievances and defining working conditions and terms of employment for all employees who are rep- resented by the Union, in the form of a Collective Agreement; and WHEREAS agreement has now been reached by both parties on some of the said procedures, conditions and terms of employment to be included in an agreement to cover the period January 1st, 1992 to December 31st, 1993. NOW THEREFORE it is hereby enacted that the Warden and the Clerk of the County of Elgin be and are hereby empowered to sign the Collective Agreement between the County of Elgin and the London and District Service Workers' Union, Local 220, S.E.I.U., A.F.L., C.I.O., C.L.C., setting forth collective bargaining rela- tions, disposition of grievances and to define working conditions and terms of employment for all full and part-time employees of Terrace Lodge, represented by the said Union. 1993 READ a first time this 25th day of May, 1993 1993 25th day of May, 25th day of May, READ a third time and finally passed this READ a second time this
