93-58 COUNTY OF ELGIN By-Law No. 93-58 "TO REPEAL BY-LAW NO. 92-59. BEING A BY-LAW PROVIDING FOR THE ERECTION OF STOP SIGNS AT INTERSECTIONS" WHEREAS section 137 of the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter H.8, provides that municipalities may by by-law provide for the erection of stop signs at intersections on highways under its jurisdiction; and WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the county of Elgin did pass By-Law No. 92-59 setting out the intersec- tions where stop signs shall be erected; and WHEREAS it is now deemed necessary and appropriate to repeal said By-Law. NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the County of Elgin enacts as follows: 1. That By-Law No. 92-59, being a by-law providing for the erection of stop signs at intersections be and is hereby repealed. READ a first time and second time this 26th day of October, 1993.
