93-59 COUNTY OF ELGIN By-Law No. 93-59 TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 91-59. AS AMENDED. TO REGULATE THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ELGIN AND COMMITTEES THEREOF" WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the County of Elgin did pass By-Law No. 91-59 in order to make and establish rules and regulations for governing the proceedings of Council, the conduct of its members, the calling of meetings, the regulations and directions of County Council, now pursuant to section 102, Chapter M. 45, of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. , 1990; and WHEREAS it is deemed necessary and expedient to further amend By-Law No. 91-59, as amended, particularly as it relates to the structure of and appointments to committees and boards and agencies. NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the County of Elgin enacts as follows: 1. That effective December 1993 the County of Elgin's committee structure be revised according to the following roster: STANDING COMMITTEES NUMBER OF MEMBERS County Library 6 plus Warden County Roads 6 plus Warden General Government and Property 6 plus Warden Homes for Senior citizens and Social Services 6 plus Warden Executive 6 plus Warden (4 Chairmen, Warden, 1 Rural, 1 Urban) OTHER COMMITTEES/BOARDS/AGENCIES County Restructuring 5 Waste Management 4 plus Warden Elgin-st. Thomas Health unit 3 Four Counties General Hospital 1 st. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital 1 plus Warden Thames Valley District Health Council 1 Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital 1 Family & Children's Services 3 Elgin Co~nty pioneer Museum 2 Elgin Tourist Association 3 2. That all other by-laws inconsistent with this by-law shall be repealed. READ a first and second time this 26th day of October, 1993.
