94-31 COUNTY OF ELGIN By-Law No. 94-31 "A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ELGIN TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF ST. THOMAS, THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF YARMOUTH, AND THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHWOLD TO ADJUST THEIR MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES" WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the County of Elgin deems it expedient to enter into an Agreement with the Corporation of the city of st. Thomas, the Corporation of the Township of Yarmouth, and the Corporation of the Township of Southwold to adjust their municipal boundaries. NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the County of Elgin enacts as follows: 1. That the Corporation of the County of Elgin enter into an Agreement with the Corporation of the city of st. Thomas, the Township of Yarmouth, and the Township of Southwold to provide for the adjustment of their municipal boundaries and that such Agree- ment be in the form hereto annexed and marked Schedule "A" to this by-law. 2. That the Warden and the Clerk be and are hereby author- ized and directed on behalf of the Corporation to execute the said Agreément and affix thereto the corporate seal of the Corporation and cause to be prepared and execute any documents, reports, forms and correspondence as may be required in order to give effect to the Agreement and the application therein referred to.
