By-Law No. 96-33
'BEING A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE WARDEN AND THE COUNTY
ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO SIGN A LEASEWITH
D.C. JACKSON REALTY CORP."
WHEREAS the Corporation of the County of Elgin wishes to lease space in the
Elgin County Administration Building at 450 Sunset Drive, St. Thomas; and
WHEREAS D.C. Jackson Realty Corp. has made an offer to lease an area on
the second floor of the said Administration Building, under certain tenns and conditions,
which are acceptable to the County Corporation.
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Corporation of the County of Elgin enacts
as follows:
1. That the Warden and the County Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized to
si~ a lease with D.C. Jackson Realty Corp. setting forth the various condItions under
w . ch the tenant will occupy space at 450 Sunset Drive, St. Thomas, for the period
October 1st, 1996 to September 30th, 1998.
2. ThatD.C. Jackson Realty Corp. be granted a twenty-four month option on the
space immediately adjoining Room 229, provided sixty days written notice is given.
