98-18 COUNTY OF ELGIN By·Law No. 98-18 BEING A BY· LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF COUNTY ROAD #103 (FURNIVAL ROAD) IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF WEST ELGIN' WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 207 (44) of the Municipal Act, being Chapter M.45 R.S.O. 1990, as amended, a by-law may be passed by a municipal council for closing to vehicular traffic on a temporary basis for such period as shall be specified in the by-law, any highway under the jurisdiction of the council for such social, recreational and other interests specified in said Act; and, WHEREAS, the Municipality of West Elgin has, by letter, requested that a portion of County Road #103, known as Furnival Road, from Victoria Street to Moriah Street in the Municipality of West Elgin, former Village of Rodney and Township of Aldborough, be closed temporarily on May 30, 1998 from 8:00 a.m. until 1 :30 p.m. the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the County of Elgin NOW THEREFORE enacts as follows: 1. That authorization be granted to the Municipality of West Elgin, in accordance with the relevant provisions outlined in the Municipal Act to temporarily close a portion of County Road #103, known as Furnival Road, in the geographical location of the former Village of Rodney and Township of Aldborough, from Victoria Street to Moriah Street on May 30, 1998 from 8:00 a.m. until 1 :30 p.m. 2.
