COUNTY OF ELGIN
By-Law No. 99-19
"BEING A BY-LAW TO ESTABLISH A PAY SCHEDULE FOR EMPLOYEES
COVERED BY THE JOB EVALUATION SCALE"
WHEREAS Section 207 (45) of the Municipal Act, being Chapter MA5 of the
Revised Statues of Ontario, 1990, as amended, authorizes a council to pass a by-law to
fix remuneration for officers and employees of the municipal corporation; and
WHEREAS By-Law No. 98-7 presently establishes pay schedules for positions not
covered by agreements or otherwise; and
WHEREAS it is necessary to establish the remuneration to be paid to the persons
holding these positions.
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the County of Elgin
enacts as follows:
1, That the attached Schedule "An and Appendix 1 be and the same are hereby
adopted.
2. That By-Law No, 98-7 be and the same is hereby repealed,
3. That this By-Law become effective January 1 st, 1999.
READ a first and second time this 8th day of June 1999.
READ a third time and finally passed this 8th day of June 1999,
