99-38 COUNTY OF ELGIN By-Law No. 99-38 BEING A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE MANAGER OF ENGINEERING SERVICES TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE COUNTY ROADS' " WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 207 (44) of the Municipal Act, being Chapter MA5, RS.O. 1990, as amended, a by-law may be passed by a municipal council for closing to vehicular traffic on a temporary basis for such period as shall be specified in the by-law, any highway under the jurisdiction of the council for such social, recreational and other interests specified in said Act; and, WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 207 (44) of the Municipal Act, being Chapter MA5, RS,O. 1990, as amended, a by-law may be passed by a municipal council to authorize a committee of council or a municipal officer or employee, subject to such conditions as council may impose, to exercise any of the powers of council in regard to Clause 1 above the Corporation of the County of Elgin the Municipal Council of NOW THEREFORE enacts as follows: 1.
