02-28 COUNTY OF ELGIN By-Law No. 02-28 "TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 01-37 BEING A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE SPEED LIMITS' WHEREAS pursuant to Section 128, Subsection 2, of the Highway Traffic Act, being Chapter H.8, RS.O. 1990, as amended, the council of a municipality may by by-law prescribe a different rate of speed for motor vehicles driven on a highway or portion of a highway under its jurisdiction than is prescribed in Section 128, Subsection 1 (a); and rates WHEREAS the County of Elgin did pass By-Law No. 01-37 prescribing different of speed for motor vehicles on certain highways under its jurisdiction and to prescribe a different WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend said By-Law rate of speed on certain highways under its jurisdiction. the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the County of Elgin NOW THEREFORE enacts as follows: 1.
