05-08 COUNTY OF ELGIN By-Law No. 05-08 "A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 03-44 APPOINTING A LAND DIVISION COMMITTEE' WHEREAS pursuant to Section 56 of the Planning Act, being Chapter P.13 of the Revised Statues of Ontario, 1990, as amended, an upper-tier municipality may by by-iaw constitute and appoint a land division committee composed of such persons, not fewer than three, as the council considers advisable. WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the County of Elgin did, by By-Law No. 03-44, appoint a five-member Land Division Committee and establish per diem rates to be paid to the said members; and to Land to be paid the per diem rates WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend Division Committee members. the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the County of Elgin NOW THEREFORE enacts as follows By-Law No. 03-44 be and is hereby repealed and replaced with THAT Section 2 of the following 1 the following "2 That the Members of the Land Division Committee be paid remuneration for attending meetings of the said Committee: a) When attending a duly called meeting of the Committee, each Member shall be paid a per diem of $110.00. b) In addition to the above remuneration, each Member shall be paid the same rate for each kilometre necessarily traveled in attending such meetings as established by Council for the use of personal vehicles while on County business " the same is. hereby amended 2005 1 this By-Law shall become effective January THAT By-Law No. 03-44 be, and THAT 2 3 March 2005 March 2005 James Mcintyre Warden this 8th day of this 8th day of time and finally passed time READ a first time and second third READ a
