SUBJECT: DRAFT OFFICIAL PLAN
The Planner presented a draft of Section 5 – Agriculture, Section 6 – Hamlets, Section 8
– Rural Residential.
The following comments were made:
?
Additional wetlands are shown on Schedule A, MNR designated
?
Emphasis on transportation corridor, therefore important to designate quadrants
around 401 as industrial/commercial
?
Recognizable boundaries for hamlets
?
Eagle reflect what is zoned as hamlet residential
?
New Glasgow change hamlet designation on south side, decrease lands
designated on east side of Furnival Road
?
Rural residential – no additional lands on Graham Road, more important to have
lands designated for industrial/commercial to preserve community
?
Can we show restricted agriculture on new plan? For example, around villages
and along lakeshore.
The Planner left the meeting.
