RESOLVED that the Property Standards Committee be convened at 2:23
p.m.
DISPOSITION: Carried
The Chair opened the meeting at 2:23 p.m. in the matter of Elsie Jones, regarding 148
Chestnut Street, West Lorne, Ontario. This is the second meeting regarding this
property.
The Clerk reported that Ms. Jones had indicated that Mr. Lyle Jones was going to attend
today, but isn’t here.
The By-law Enforcement Officer reported that no one was working there today. He
referred to a report of the Chief Building Official (CBO)and what is still outstanding.
Further, after being on the site today he is recommending action be taken under the
Clean & Clear of Land By-law. It was decided to issue an order under this by-law.
The Committee reviewed a letter from Ms. Jones, dated September 21, 2005. With
regard to the CBO’s report, the Chair noted that progress is being made. The
Committee agreed that an additional three weeks to comply with the property standards

matters. An update to be provided on October 13.
