Call to Order The Rural Initiatives/Planning Advisory Committee met this 24th day of June, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. 2. Approval of Agenda Moved by: Councillor Marlyn Seconded by: Councillor Giguere RESOLVED THAT the agenda be approved as presented. - Motion Carried. 3. Adoption of Minutes Moved by: Warden French Seconded by: Councillor Giguere RESOLVED THAT the minutes of the previous meeting be adopted. - Motion Carried. /Elgoin Unit Progressive by Nature 4. Disclosure of Pecuniary Interest and the General Nature Thereof None. 5. Delegations None. 6. Briefings 6.1 Official Plan Review — Discussion Paper #5 — Population, Housing and Employment Forecasts and Associated Land Needs Analysis The Acting Manager of Planning presented the report summarizing the Official Plan Review Discussion paper concerning population, housing and employment forecasts and their associated land needs analysis. Moved by: Councillor Martyn Seconded by: Councillor Giguere RESOLVED THAT the report titled "Population, Housing and Employment Forecasts and Associated Land Needs Analysis" dated June 10, 2022, be received by Committee and recommended for endorsement by County Council. Motion Carried. 6.2 2022 Community Grant Program Review The Manager of Administrative Services/Deputy Clerk presented the report recommending consideration of potential amendments to the Community Grant Program in advance of the 2023. Moved by: Councillor Giguere Seconded by: Warden French RESOLVED THAT the report titled "2022 Community Grant Program Review" dated May 27, 2022 from the Manager of Administrative Services/Deputy Clerk and Legislative Services Coordinator be received and filed; and THAT the Rural Initiatives and Planning Advisory Committee consider the recommended adjustments to the Community Grant Program, as contained in the report titled "2022 Community Grant Program Review;" and THAT recommendations from the Rural Initiatives and Planning Advisory Committee be incorporated into the application package, scoring matrix and implementation process for the 2023 grant intake. E1g1n unty Progressive by Nature Motion Carried. 6.3 Funding Challenge from Town of Aylmer re: Aylmer-Malahide Museum and Archives Moved by: Councillor Martyn Seconded by: Councillor Giguere RESOLVED THAT the report titled "Funding Challenge from the Town of Aylmer Re: Aylmer Malahide Museum and Archives" dated June 20, 2022 from the Manager of Administrative Services/Deputy Clerk be deferred to the next meeting. 7.
